The weather has been beautiful in Carmel-by-the-Sea! And there are lots of events to enjoy.

On May 18-20, the 25th Annual Carmel Art Festival will be held in downtown Carmel. Stop by Nancy Dodds Gallery and see works by five participating artists.

On Father's Day, June 17, you can participate in Run in the Name of Love, a 5K run or a 2K run in the name of someone you love. Savor views of Point Lobos and Carmel Beach along the way.

Carmel's Heritage Society's 2018 House and Garden Tour takes place on June 23. They are celebrating the 25th year of peeking inside Carmel's most iconic homes.

It wouldn't be summer without our Annual 4th of July Celebration at Devendorf Park. Flags will waving on July 4 from 12-4 PM. Free hot dogs and watermelon included!

The Carmel Bach Festival will be celebrating classical music from July 14-28 with performances, talks and educational events.

And finally, my favorite event, Concours d'Elegance - locally known as Car Week - takes place August 21-26. Highlights in Carmel include Concours on the Avenue on August 21 and Pebble Beach Concours Tour d'Elegance on August 23.

A reminder! Make your plans for the 100th Anniversary of the US Open in Pebble Beach on June 13-16, 2019. Homes are filling up fast.

Carmel's 100th Birthday

This year, Carmel celebrates its 100th birthday! Visit the Carmel Centennial site for a list of events and fun historical facts. Friends of Carmel Forest is offering Centennial Trees to commemorate an event or a loved one.

This summer, the annual Carmel Art Festival takes place on May 13-15. Be sure to enjoy our old-fashioned 4th of July celebration in Devendorf Park. The Carmel Bach Festival fills the air with sweet sounds from July 16-30. August 16-21, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance attracts stunning vehicles from around the world.

Summer Fun In Carmel

There's no better place than Carmel-by-the-Sea for your summer holiday. Beat the heat in what National Geographic Traveler calls "One of America's Best Beach Towns."

Next door at Nancy Dodds Gallery, artists Aimee Erickson and Wayne McKenzie are being shown through June 14.

On June 20, Carmel House & Garden Tour offers a peek into the most iconic and eclectic homes and gardens in Carmel. This year, doors will be open to the famous Frank Lloyd Wright house on Scenic Avenue.

Celebrate an old-fashioned, family Fourth of July at Devendorf Park. Hot dogs, ice cream, and watermelon will be served, followed by fun games for the kids.

The Carmel Bach Festival on July 18 - August 1 celebrates the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach with music at venues throughout the village.

August 11-16, the Concours Tour d'Elegance pulls up in style. Be sure to see all the stunning cars lined up on Ocean Avenue on Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13.
